Elizabeth Kott and her husband lived in Mainz for 25 years. During that time her husband photographed cemeteries. He became an excellent photographer. After his death Elizabeth produced a book with his best photos of cemeteries, amongst which a photo of a little girl throwing the bones. This became the incentive for this book. After intensive research this book regarding games of dice and throwing bones worldwide was the result.
